MY APPROACH

Your session is completely relaxed and guided at your baby’s pace.

There’s no rush, no pressure, and no expectations for your baby to “perform”. I follow your baby's pace and there is plenty of time for feeding and cuddles.

The studio is warm and calm. You can sit back, have a cuppa, and take a moment to breathe—while I gently capture your baby safely and naturally.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1 - GET IN TOUCH

We’ll get a provisional date in the diary. Babies, as it turns out, don’t read calendars — so if yours decides to arrive fashionably early or take their sweet time, I’ll simply shuffle things around.

STEP 2 - YOUR SESSION

Your session takes place in my cosy Oswestry studio and is completely baby-led — meaning we go at your baby’s pace,

There’s plenty of time for feeds, cuddles, and the occasional “why are you suddenly wide awake?” moment, so just relax. Most sessions last around 2 hours.

STEP THREE - CHOOSING YOUR PHOTOS

After your session, I’ll carefully edit your gallery and send everything over to you online (so no need to leave the house again — you’re welcome).

You can view your images in your own time, probably with a baby on you and a cup of tea you’ll reheat three times, and choose your favourites from there.

THE STUDIO

My studio is based at 32 Beatrice Street in Oswestry, and I’ve created it to feel calm, welcoming and completely stress free for new parents. There’s plenty of easy parking, so you don’t have to worry about juggling bags, baby and everything in between.

Inside, the space is filled with beautiful natural light, which I love using to create soft, timeless images of your newborn. It’s warm, quiet and thoughtfully set up so you can truly relax while I work.

There are comfy sofas for you to sink into, along with plenty of space for feeding, changing and taking things at your baby’s pace. Nothing is rushed here, we simply go with the flow, making sure both you and your little one are comfortable every step of the way.

FAQ

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK MY BABY IN FOR THEIR NEWBORN SESSION?

It’s always best to book your newborn session during your pregnancy — ideally just after your 20-week scan. Babies have a habit of arriving whenever they fancy, so securing a provisional slot early means I can keep space in my diary for when your little one decides to make their grand entrance.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO PHOTOGRAPH MY BABY?

I always recommend photographing your baby within the first 14 days. Partner's are usually on Paternity which makes like easier. At this stage babies are usually super sleepy and still love being curled up just like they were in the womb. That sleepy, snuggly stage allows me to gently pose them to create those beautiful, dreamy newborn images. That being said we will get beautiful images at any age.

OH NO, MY BABY IS OLDER THAN 14 DAYS, NOW WHAT?

No problem! Babies don’t read the rule book.

Sessions with slightly older babies may look a little different, less sleepy, less curly, but they can still be just as gorgeous. Get in touch and we can chat about the best options to create beautiful images of your little one.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY SESSION?

The studio will be lovely and warm so your baby stays cosy and comfortable (you may feel like you’ve walked into a tropical holiday, but babies love it!).

Before your session you’ll receive a prep guide explaining exactly how to prepare. This helps give your baby the best chance of being nice and sleepy so we can capture those dreamy poses.

DO YOU INCLUDE SIBLINGS AND PARTNERS"

Of course! Siblings AND Partners are a must, and are always very welcome — after all, those first photos together are incredibly special (with a bit of chaos)

WHEN WILL I SEE MY PHOTOS?

You will love your newborn session and no doubt will be desperate to see your photos as soon as possible. Your photos will be ready around 2 weeks after your session. Y ou will receive a private gallery to choose your beautiful photos.

I’m a newborn photographer with a very gentle, relaxed approach, and I absolutely love capturing those early new baby days. I know just how precious (and sometimes overwhelming) this stage can be, so everything I do is designed to feel calm, easy and completely baby-led.
