Eek, not long until your Christmas session, here are some helpful FAQs for your session.
1. The address is 32 Beatrice Street Oswestry, SY11 1QG. Please leave plenty of time to find parking, as most free parking is a few minutes walk to the studio. See map below. There is often a Christmas parade or a Santa run on the Christmas session days, so some roads may be closed, so please leave plenty of time. If you are later than 10 minutes your session will not go ahead.
2. Do NOT enter the studio until I come and get you. Once you enter the studio please quickly remove coats, shoes, socks and tights. I photograph everyone with no shoes and feet out.
3. Please do not bring Uncle Jim, Aunty Karen and cousin Billy Bob, I will leave them out in the cold. Immediate family only please, and a 2 adult limit. Please note, no sharing sessions, it’s one family per session. Cousins need to book back to back sessions.
4. It goes without saying DO NOT attend if you are unwell.
5. Your session will be 15-20 minutes long. If you are late, your session will be cut short.
6. Please talk to your kids beforehand about what will happen as there won’t be enough time to warm them up like I would do in a normal session. Let them know what my name is, and get them excited to have their photo taken.
7. As you know my style is neutral, but of course you can wear what you want for these Christmas session. (neutral works best with the setup) Please avoid black, grey and navy, it doesn’t work well with the setup, and will show all the fluff from the carpet and all the bits of fake snow. I won’t edit it out if you choose to wear it.! If you wear Red it will look orange with my editing. Navy will look grey with my editing, Please note I won’t change it. 8. If you require an outfit for your child please send me an email with sizes.
9. Around 5 days after your session you will receive a private gallery with your images for you to choose from. You will have 24 hours to choose your images once you login.
10. These are not family sessions, they are for the kids. I am happy to do a couple of family photos only.
11. I welcome all aged kids, but please note this is not a newborn shoot, Please do not expect any newborn type photos if your baby is little. Please leave plenty of time to feed/change nappies in the car before you come in as there just isn’t any time during your session. Please put them in a simple onesie with legs showing, a dress or any other crazy outfit will just drown them and you wont see your baby in any photos.
