Cake Smash, Two little words, a whole world of fun. A relatively recent photography phenomenon (try saying that three times fast), the Cake Smash does exactly what it says on the tin: you give the baby a cake, and they smash it. Gleefully. Joyously. Manically. Seriously, you have never seen delight like a one-year-old going to town on a Victoria Sponge.

It really is a lovely way to capture your baby at that cheeky, fleeting stage between baby and toddler. That time when they’re taking their first wobbly steps, bum-shuffling or even that weird Navy SEAL-style belly crawl that some of them favour. Before you know it, they’ll be sashaying through the school gates so enjoy it while you can!

All I need from you is to know when your baby’s first birthday is coming up and when you’d like the session to take place. I do everything else, including providing a smashing cake (pun very much intended).
